The Clayton Heights Development Phase II Project is a residential subdivision development for the Fort Smith Housing Authority (FSHA) consisting of 57 lots for single family housing. The mission of the FSHA is to develop, rehabilitate and manage decent, safe and sanitary quality affordable housing in a manner that promotes equal opportunity, fair housing goals and the deconcentration of race and poverty. The project included residential site development and the design of streets, storm drainage improvements, public utilities (water and sewer), and sidewalks. Specific drainage improvements included pipe and box culverts, as well as open channel structures. Hawkins-Weir Engineers (HW) is proud to assist FSHA in the achievement of their mission, and provided preliminary engineering, design, bidding, and construction observation and management services for the project.
