The Arkoma Water and Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project is a water and sewer system upgrade for the Town of Arkoma, Oklahoma. The Water Improvements Project includes the construction of a new 400,000-gallon reservoir, rehabilitation of the existing water pump station, approximately 10,000 linear feet of new 6- and 8-inch water line, over 40 new fire hydrant assemblies and additional isolation zone valves. The Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project’s primary focus was reduction in the amount of stormwater inflow and infiltration. This phase of the project includes rehabilitation of 10,000 feet of sewer line ranging from 8- to 16-inches in diameter, CCTV and smoke testing inspections, and improvements to existing parshall flume metering stations.
