Project Description

This project involved the development and calibration of a new hydraulic water model for Dota Public Water Authority. The water model was created using the Client’s existing GIS mapping data, system record drawings, and information provided by the utility. Hawkins-Weir worked directly with the utility in calibrating the model using field measurements taken throughout the distribution system. The model was put to immediate use in evaluating existing issues within the distribution system. Recommendations and budgetary pricing were provided to assist the Client in remediating these issues.
